Terms of Service

Agreement

By creating an account or using Owelet ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use it. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Owelet ("we," "us," "our").

The service

Owelet is a financial dashboard for solopreneurs. It connects to your selling platforms via OAuth, syncs your transaction history, and presents your revenue, fees, and cashflow in one place.

We do not provide financial advice, tax advice, or accounting services. The numbers we display are drawn from your connected platforms — we are not responsible for inaccuracies that originate there. Always verify your finances with a qualified accountant or tax professional before making decisions.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to use Owelet. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account with others or use it in a way that violates these Terms.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at hello@owelet.app immediately.

Platform connections

When you connect a platform, you authorize Owelet to fetch your transaction data from that platform on your behalf using OAuth. This connection can be revoked at any time — either from Owelet or directly from the platform's own settings.

You represent that you have the right to grant this access and that doing so does not violate the terms of service of the connected platform.

Subscriptions and billing

Owelet offers a free trial period. After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Subscription pricing is shown on the pricing page.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods, but if you've been charged in error, reach out and we'll make it right.

Acceptable use

You may not use Owelet to:

• Access data you don't own or aren't authorized to access
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
• Violate any applicable law or the terms of your connected platforms
• Impersonate another user or provide false information

Intellectual property

Owelet and its design, code, and branding are our property. Your transaction data is yours — we claim no ownership over it. You grant us a limited license to store and display it for the purpose of operating the Service.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING UPTIME, ACCURACY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. FINANCIAL DATA DISPLAYED IN OWELET IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS OFFICIAL FINANCIAL RECORDS.

Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OWELET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from your settings page. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We'll notify active users by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
