Payout calendar

Every platform pays on its own clock, and most of them don't say so clearly. Toggle to the platforms you actually sell on and see which days money is due to move — verified against each platform's own help docs, not a guess.

How each platform actually pays

GumroadWeekly (you choose the frequency)

You set your own payout frequency in Payout Settings: daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly. Weekly batches include every sale through the previous Friday (UTC). Each individual sale also has its own 7-day minimum holding period before it's eligible to go out.

Minimum: $10 standard (higher in some local currencies — e.g. 600 THB, 40,000 KRW). This is separate from the $100 balance needed for Discover eligibility. · Daily and near-instant payouts (within minutes, 3% fee) are available to US sellers with an eligible bank account and 4+ prior payouts. · Gumroad Help Center — Getting paid

PatreonMonthly (5th, if on autopay)

Patrons are charged on the 1st of the month (processed at 12am PT / 8am UTC as of September 2025). If you have automatic payouts on, Patreon initiates your payout on the 5th, and it takes 1-5 more days to reach your bank. You can also withdraw manually once every 24 hours once your balance is available (not pending).

Minimum: No fixed minimum to initiate a payout beyond having a positive available balance. · Patreon Help Center — How payouts work

Ko-fiDepends on your connected processor

Ko-fi doesn't hold your money on its own schedule — it passes payments straight to whichever processor you connected. PayPal: genuinely instant, no delay. Stripe: your first payout takes about 7 days, then settles into a rolling 2, 4, or 7-day schedule (set in your Stripe Dashboard), or Instant Payouts for an extra fee (~30 minutes).

Minimum: None set by Ko-fi itself — governed by your PayPal or Stripe account. · Ko-fi Help Center — How do I get paid?

EtsyWeekly on Monday (default for new sellers)

New sellers default to weekly deposits (every Monday); you can switch to daily, biweekly, or monthly in Payment Settings. New shops wait 14 days after a sale before funds are eligible for deposit — established shops can be as fast as the next business day, depending on account standing.

Minimum: $15 for the daily deposit schedule in the US (varies by country). · Etsy Help Center — How to Receive Your Etsy Payments Deposit

StripeRolling, ~2 business days behind

New accounts go through an initial verification period before settling into Stripe's standard schedule: a rolling 2-business-day basis (a Monday charge arrives by Wednesday). Instant Payouts are available 24/7, including weekends, for a 1.5% fee, landing in your bank within about 30 minutes.

Minimum: None for standard payouts. · Stripe Docs — Manage payout schedule

Lemon SqueezyTwice monthly (14th and 28th)

Payout batches are created on the 1st and 15th of the month, covering every sale since the last batch. Net sales are held 13 days before becoming payable, so the 1st's batch pays on the 14th and the 15th's batch pays on the 28th. Funds then take 1-5 more days to reach your bank or PayPal.

Minimum: No published minimum balance. · No fee charged by Lemon Squeezy to process the payout itself. · Lemon Squeezy Docs — Getting Paid

PaddleMonthly (created 1st, sent by the 15th)

If your balance is above your payout threshold, Paddle creates the payout on the 1st of the month and sends it by the 15th. It then takes up to 3 more working days to arrive, depending on your payout method (bank transfer, PayPal, or Payoneer). A balance under the threshold rolls forward to the next month.

Minimum: $100 default threshold, configurable in settings. · Paddle Help Center — When and how do I get paid?

Buy Me a CoffeeInstant to balance, days to your bank

Runs on Stripe (Standard Connect or Stripe Express). Your balance updates instantly once a payment is approved, but the transfer to your actual bank account typically takes 3-5 business days. Your very first payout can take 7-14 days while your account is being verified.

Minimum: None published beyond standard Stripe verification. · Buy Me a Coffee Knowledge Base — Understanding Your Payouts

TeachableMonthly (1st business day — often a 2-month lag)

Depends entirely on which payment gateway your school uses. The legacy Monthly Payment Gateway pays on the first US business day of the month, but for sales from two months prior — a January sale pays out March 1st. The newer, Stripe-based Teachable:pay is far faster and flexible: you choose daily, weekly, or monthly payouts yourself.

Minimum: No published minimum. · Teachable Help Center — Monthly Payment Gateway

ThinkificRolling, not a fixed monthly date

With Thinkific Payments (Stripe-based), payouts deposit on a rolling basis once your account is verified — it's not a single fixed monthly date. Your first payout can take 7-14 days while Thinkific verifies your account; after that, contact support to adjust frequency, or use Instant Payouts for near-immediate access.

Minimum: No published minimum. · Thinkific Help Center — Thinkific Payments: Payouts
