Several fee calculators online mislabel this, quoting $199 for Expand. If you're comparing plans by their own-Stripe surcharge, get the price for the tier you're actually looking at.

Thinkific has five plans: Basic $49/mo ($36 annual), Start $99/mo ($74 annual), Grow $199/mo ($149 annual), Expand $499/mo ($374 annual), and Plus at custom pricing. Several fee calculators mislabel Expand as $199/month — that's actually Grow's price.

Thinkific Payments, the built-in processor, charges 0% platform surcharge — only standard card processing (~2.9% + $0.30) applies. This is the genuine version of Thinkific's advertised '0% transaction fee.'

Connecting your own Stripe account instead adds a surcharge on top of processing: 5% on Basic, 2% on Start, 1% on Grow, 0.5% on Expand, and 0% on Plus. The surcharge applies only to the first $1M in annual sales per plan, then stops.

Thinkific announced a roughly 10% price increase on Basic, Start, and Grow — its first since 2022 — effective at each subscriber's next renewal on or after August 13, 2026. If your renewal falls near that date, confirm your new price directly with Thinkific.
